His surgical practice focuses upon complex surgery of the gastrointestinal tract, particularly the esophagus, pancreatobiliary and colorectal carcinoma. He has a longstanding interest and experience in the surgical treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. In addition to his gastrointestinal surgical practice, he has had a longstanding interest in the treatment of breast cancer and maintains an active practice in the treatment of breast malignancy.
