Rehabilitation Education
Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of
Pennsylvania School of Medicine has a long and
distinguished history. “The Nation’s
First” is more than a slogan; it is indicative
of our established track record for creativity
and innovation in virtually all of the areas of
medicine encompassed by rehabilitation.
The Department is actively involved in education
for undergraduate students, medical students,
graduate students (both doctoral and residency
training), and fellows. And, through a vibrant
partnership with colleagues within the divisions
of physical and occupational therapies, we impact
training for a variety of health professions students
in other settings. We also participate in and/or
sponsor continuing medical education activities.
All of these programs take full advantage of the
extensive network of facilities and resources
available through the University of Pennsylvania,
one of the most vibrant campuses in the nation.
